This month's coffee comes to you from Coronado Island in Southern California. Trident Coffee Roasters is a veteran owned company that specializes in cold brew coffee. In fact, their shop is a tap room! They work directly with the farmers in each location they source their beans from "to create a life cycle accountability that is transparent, organic, and empowers our coffee partners to be with us for the long haul".

Cold Brew Instructions
Grind your coffee! It should be a coarse grind, a bit more coarse than what you would use for a french press.
Use 1oz of coffee for every 16oz of cold filtered water
Add coffee grounds and water to a cold brew maker or french press brewer
Put in the refrigerator for 12-24 hours
Press and pour into your favorite mug to enjoy!
Because cold brew is made with cold water, it tastes slightly sweeter, a bit milder and way less acidic than your average iced coffee. Though the aroma and flavor will be less intense, they won't change dramatically over time like hot coffee.
Try adding sweetened condensed milk for a sweeter beverage!
