We chose these coffees to show how much the flavor profile changes with the altitude it's grown at. Most coffees come from regions across the globe in what is called the Bean Belt. The bean belt lies between the Tropics of Cancer and Capricorn, 23.5 degrees north and south of the equator. It passes through about 70 countries, which have tropical climates that provide rich environments that are perfect for growing coffee.
Some other factors that affect the flavor of coffee are the soil it's grown in, water quality, plant's genetics, processing, and more. The flavor can also change slightly depending on the brewing method you use. Let us know what you want to learn more about in the comments below!
